Frisco Trails Subdivision Homeowners Association

Frisco Trails . . . A Great Place to Live

In 2005, single family lots were offered for sale in a brand new subdivision located just outside the city limits of Springfield, Missouri in Greene County. The 106-lot subdivision was called Frisco Trails.

Prior to development, the land was a local farm owned by W. T. Appleton, and there is a street in Frisco Trails named in Mr. Appleton’s honor. The subdivision itself was named for the abandoned Missouri-Pacific Railroad easement (erroneously believed to be a Frisco Railroad easement) that runs diagonally along the east edge of the subdivision. More significantly, that abandoned railroad easement is also a section of the Trail of Tears that passed through Greene County — thus, Frisco Trails.

Today, Frisco Trails is a beautiful place to live, and is served by a homeowners association dedicated to the preservation of the safety, beauty, and property values of our neighborhood.
